Day 1-2 Travel by Eurostar high speed train London to Paris, change to the comfortable Elipsos overnight sleeper to Madrid. Enjoy a freshly cooked dinner on board, while the steward makes up the beds. Morning arrival Day 2 in Madrid, with a connecting service to Seville. Stay 3 nights at 3 star hotel Murillo or 4 star hotel Casas de los Juderios, a restored Andalucian courtyard. The new station in Seville is a short taxi ride from the old city centre.
Day 2-4 Stay in Seville, said by legend, to be founded by Hercules, crammed with magnificent churches, convents, monuments and Moorish palaces. Although compact enough to discover on foot, you could take a horse drawn carriage route along traffic free streets. Later try one of the many Tapas bars and experience the buzzing nightlife.

“Mesquita” or Great Mosque with more than 850 coloured jasper and marble pillars, the cool interior, which is lit by occasional shafts of sunlight, is breathtaking. In 11th Century it was one of the most important cities in Europe. People of different cultures and religions lived harmoniously together.
Day 7-8 Travel two and a half hours by train to Granada across the verdant countryside of Andalusia for a two night stay at 3 star Dauro II or 4 star Macia Alhambra. One of the highlights of your trip must be a visit to the Alhambra Palace a jewel of architecture. The Palace was built in the 14th Century and includes palaces, gardens and fountains all gathered under the Sierra Nevada and overlooking the fertile plains of Granada. So many words have been written but none can adequately describe the magnificence of this grand site.
Day 9 Join your TALGO train to Madrid for the 5 hour journey to connect with night train to Paris.
