| Days 1-3 Depart London for Frankfurt taking the overnight City Night Line sleeper to Vienna where you stay for 2 nights at the 3* Hotel Lindner am Belvedere. Days 4-5 Depart on the direct sleeper train to Brasov the night at the 3* Capitole, historic Romanian city dating from Saxon times, the infamous Dracula Castle at Bram is 16 miles away by bus. Days 5-6 Connect with the international sleeper train at Bucharest to Istanbul – make sure you’re awake for the dramatic entrance to the Bosphorus, Istanbul. Days 7-8 If you are returning by train, stay 2 nights at the Orient Express Hotel Sikerci in the old city, close to the Blue Mosque and Agia Sophia and opposite the station. |
Days 9-10 Stop for 2 nights in Bucharest in the centrally situated Bristol Hotel. Bucharest is known for its wide, tree-lined boulevards, glorious Belle Époque buildings, it has its own Arcul de Triumf, just like Paris! Days 11-12 Travel by overnight sleeper to Vienna with connecting Railjet train to Munich. Day 13 Stay 1 night at the centrally situated Drei Loewen, Munich, visit the renowned Alte Pinakothek Art Gallery with famous paintings by Titian, Hals and Rubens. Days 14-15 Travel by overnight City Night Line sleeper to Paris with onward Eurostar connection to London. |
